While we were caught off guard by the sudden engagement of Jesse James and Kat Von D, James' ex Sandra Bullock seems to have had a heads up.
Sources close to Bullock -- who divorced James seven months ago (one month before he and Von D began dating) -- say that the actress knew James was going to propose.
"Sandra knew it was coming, and she was ready," an insider told PopEater.
And while she's probably not thrilled by the news, the new mom has accepted that the motorcycle man is no longer a factor in her future.
"It may seem like only yesterday that Jesse and Sandra split," says the source, "But for her, life has changed so much, that it seems like ages ago."
Bullock is concentrating on being a mom to her son Louis, 1, and has recently said that the one little guy "is all I can handle" right now.
